The Tutor was designed in 1958 as an all purpose jet training aircraft for the flight instruction of military pilots. The aircraft is an all metal, side by side tow seat monoplane with a single jet engine. The high manoeuvrability and relatively slow speed of the Tutor is ideally suited for aerobatics. A well tuned engine enhances engine response in low level flying.
